  Now seems to be called just "The Deli".  It's on the north side of Uxbridge (Yelp map makes it look like it's on the south side.)
  
  As an American visiting for a few months in shepards bush, I found this place to be quite refreshing among all the rather ethnic restaurants nearby.  I've been there three times for lunch and each time the sandwich was awesome. As a creature of habit,  I went there the second time wanting the same thing I got the first time as I really liked it,  but alas, each visit had a different menu. But I'm happy it did as each sandwich was just as good as the previous one. I'm a huge fan of soft fresh bread and to me it can totally make or break a sandwich.  The Deli has served up some of the freshest bread I've tasted.
  
  Their banana bread is pretty darn good as well.

  The Hummingbird Deli is located right next to Shepherds Bush Market station. It's a very lovely cafe with a nice ambiente. The staff is friendly and food is delivered really fast to your table.
  I ordered 'smashed avocado toast with mozzarella & pesto' which was very tasty! a piece of chocolate cake for dessert and a fresh orange juice (the best I had so far in London!)
  
  only cons are the hygiene (table and cutlery was not clean) and the necessatity to be here early to be able to order from the whole menu because most drinks/ food will be sold out very fast..

  Over heard heated conversation between employee and owner, where owner was refusing to pay staff. Will not be returning, disappointing to say the least. Owner seems like an intimidating bully. Reduced girl to tears with no conscious!

  Breakfast with my daughter ! She had ordered the scrambled eggs with salmon and toast. The salmon was very tasty but the scrambled eggs she couldnt taste them... Some little princess (my granddaughter) ate them all!!! But we are sure there were fab ;)

  Quaint little deli on the Uxbridge Road and really good coffee of I may say so myself. The food is good be a it a tad expensive but I guess it is the Shepherds bush area so maybe they are charging Westfield prices?
  
  I needed a wake up call today hence I went in for a macchiato which I have found to be a shot of espresso with a little foam to take the edge off the bitterness.
  
  Trust me that was a kick I needed this Monday morning.
  
  I was eyeing up some of their savory muffins this morning but I managed to hold off.. Next time I'm going in for the whole hog!
  
  Really good place of your doing any monthly meetings outside of the office as it's quiet and mid morning are the best time for it.
